Instantly recognisable by its sleek grille and distinctive headlights, the Renault 5 has reinterpreted and refreshed the details of its seventies predecessor. The two rectangular shapes with rounded corners pay homage to the classic Renault 5 Turbo.
At the rear, the lights are vertically aligned, contributing to the Renault 5’s aerodynamic shape. Moulding marked with a ‘5’ emphasises the boot line, while the shark fin aerial punctuates the roof, which is edged with a contrasting roofline.
As a reminder, the bonnet ventilation grille has a new function. Transformed into a charge indicator, the number ‘5’ illuminates when the driver approaches or when the battery is at its maximum.
